- Oyster Crawfish Festival at Park Tavern! (In Piedmont Park across the street from my office). I’ll be there this weekend enjoying a lowcountry boil, give me a shout if you plan on going!
- The Waterworks Park opened after 25 years! If you’ve been here a while, you may remember having family gatherings and barbeques at the reservoirs. A 2-acre greenspace with awesome views opened yesterday, hopefully it will spark some more of the 145 acres surrounding the waterworks complex to become open to the public.
- Orchid Daze at the Botanical Gardens
- Atlanta Lantern Parade: (May 21st) After a two year pandemic induced hiatus, the Lantern Parade is making a comeback! The tradition started in 2o1o on what is now the Eastern BeltLine Trail, but this year it will be on the new Westside BeltLine! Read more here
