Edgewood Development Project Moving Along

Thrive Residential had an NPU meeting Monday to discuss rezoning an existing industrial building to multifamily in order to build an apartment building and 23 stacked townhouses, 700 units total. The proposed new development is around the corner from the Edgewood Marta station (285 Mayson Ave).It’s amazing how Kirkwood and Edgewood continue to change so rapidly and be one of the greatest areas to live in the city. Like the long-awaited Eastside Trolley Line Trail, which should open December of next year. My dad helped to design a lot of the trails so I’m extra excited to see that open.
