Most of you are familiar with the Lee + White development on part of the former “Warehouse Row” in West End on the BeltLine which was completed around 2017. Currently it’s home to Monday Night Garage, Wild Heaven Beer, HopCity, Honeysuckle Gelato and a lot more.
Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners are moving forward with the next phase in the $85 million transformation of Lee + White, a model of adaptive re-use development. They’ve just released their latest renderings that include a food hall, 250 multifamily units, unique retail spaces, a “Great Lawn” and creative loft offices.
I already enjoy walking through the Westside Beltline, while eating Das BBQ and enjoying Monday Night’s Space Lettuce. But by 2022, it’ll be even more fun! There will be a concert space, food hall, and much more. I predict that in 5 years, property values in West End will be higher than in Grant Park.
Just within the last couple years on the Westside, Atlanta’s biggest park, Westside Park, opened (two weeks ago), Microsoft announced the Bellwood Quarry campus, the BeltLine has been connected and much, much more in store. If you haven’t checked it out, now is the time!
