Even though Georgia has some of the strictest gambling laws, one of the largest sports betting companies, FanDuel, is investing over $15m into their new Midtown Office. The office will be their product and software development, program design and IT operations hub.
Georgia Department of Economic Development expects FanDuel to create over 900 jobs here over the next five years. The company also has plans to mentor college students, helping them prepare for their technology careers as well.
We have so much tech moving in and investing in Atlanta long term, partly due to our diverse workforce, world class universities, top of the line training, and quality of life. I’m excited about FanDuel’s move, but not at all surprised, they are one of many.
