Zillow, the most popular home-search site, is planning to open their Southeastern Hub in Dunwoody, right outside of Atlanta. This office will focus predominantly on “Zillow Offers”, the company’s home-buying program. Read more here.
I-Buyer’s are a growing trend, and likely are here to stay. When selling a house, I am working solely on my client’s behalf, to get the highest and best price possible, whereas Zillow and other I-Buyers would need to buy well below fair market price to make their profit. I believe in some situations this may make sense for sellers, but I recommend reaching out to me before taking that route and leaving money on the table.
